Minda Ciardi has been a music educator for the past 15 years, teaching public, private, and homeschool students. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education, vocal emphasis, from Abilene Christian University and a Masters of Arts in Music Education from Stephen F. Austin State University. She also holds a Certificate of Kodály Pedagogy from the University of North Texas. In addition to teaching duties, Minda has served as Director and Founder of Abilene Summer Sound, a music day camp at Abilene Christian University. Her other interests involve serving in leadership roles with Tōmy Friends (play therapy doll program) and Sam’s Place (orphanage for deaf children in Kenya). Minda lives in Guthrie with her husband and three daughters.
Joy Cavett

Joy Cavett has had much experience with enhancing a child’s overall development through music via Music with Joy with the Metropolitan Library System and SmartStart programs as well as private school instruction. She has completed Kodaly Level I and is Kindermusik certified. Joy holds a degree from Oklahoma City University in Vocal Performance.
Kelly Stinson

Kelly is a Texas native who earned her BME, vocal emphasis, from Baylor University, and is certified in Texas to teach All-level Music as well as Early Childhood. She earned her Montessori certificates through the Waco I. S. D., where she taught at the district’s Montessori Magnet School for the Visual and Performing Arts. She has directed elementary, youth, and adult choirs, and specialized in Early Childhood Music before leaving the public schools to begin her family. She continued to refine her teaching skills through homeschooling her children and presenting programs for the Brazoria County Library System’s Summer Reading Program. She also served as a District Director for the Houston Square and Round Dance Council, and as secretary for her square dance club. She has served both as a church pianist and a choir accompanist, and has recently begun tutoring elementary students in reading and math. For several years she wrote a Clicker Training column for Pony Pals Magazine, and in her spare time she enjoys square dancing; cooking; sewing; reading; playing games, watching old movies, and reading aloud with her family; and enjoying the family’s pets – two mules, three cats, and many chickens.
Angela Jones

Angie is a highly experienced music educator with 19 years experience in both general music ed and choir. She has both a Bachelor and Master degree in music and is currently working on her PhD (ABD).
Emma Gee
- Accompanist, Edmond and OKC
Emma Gee is a classically-trained pianist, accompanist, and piano instructor. She has been with COHC since 2015 and holds a B.M.A in Piano and an M.M. in Piano Performance. Emma is also a nationally certified teacher of music through MTNA, and she currently maintains a private piano studio in Edmond.
Laura Stoabs

LAURA STOABS earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Oklahoma State University and then her Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. Laura is a solo practice attorney with a referral only Estate Planning practice. www.
