It’s hard to believe it’s already the middle of July!  Summer is flying past!  That said, I just wanted to check-in, give you an update of a few things going on behind the scenes and let you know of some neat opportunities you may want your child to take advantage of before the new school year begins.

Amazing Opportunity for Girls in Bella Voce

Coming in August–the Youth in Harmony Workshop presented by Sweet Adelines International.  This is such an amazing opportunity for girls in grades 8-12! Participants will learn about a cappella singing from The Ladies (who are AMAZING) and then get some stage experience in a show that same evening with the award winning OK City Chorus and some award winning quartets.  There is a $15 registration fee which includes 2 meals, a T-shirt, and a full day of vocal instruction.  Scholarships are available – contact OK City Chorus for more information or to register.  ​

NEW Audition Opportunity for COHC Students

This fall several of our Principio and Illuminati students will have the opportunity to audition for Circle the State with Song and the Oklahoma Children’s All-State Chorus.  If you have a child age 9 thru 13 who will be participating in COHC in the fall and who would like to participate in an auditioned choir, this is a very special opportunity that allows students to take it to the next level in Oklahoma.  Auditions will be submitted through the choirs in September but if your child is interested, he/she can start practicing now to get ready.  To get started, click here to download, listen, and practice the audition material.

Edmond Principio is now closed.  Students interested in joining this class in Edmond should join the Edmond Principio Waiting List via the link below.  They are also welcome to enroll for rehearsals at another site.  Should a vacancy become available in Edmond, students will be contacted in wait list order, regardless of whether he/she is enrolled at another location.
